Victoria Crowned Pigeon

My boyfriend and I went back to the Toronto Zoo for a summer visit with our new Zoo Memberships. It was a great adventure together, my camera got a great workout. I've seen and photographed this crowned pigeon many times. I can tell because he had an old injury that leaves him with a deformed wing - you can see it slightly on his right side. But he's safe in the pavilion walking and going where he pleases and doesn't have to worry about predators. He is a gorgeous bird, doesn't seem to mind the zoo visitors walking by him. I got up really close to him for this shot and he just stood there to pose, I didn't push his personal space, want to be respectful of his space.
